Does the foundation in the model really have that diagonal along the side, or is that just something in this photo?

No, the diagonal is only shown in that one view so you can see how the building was planned. The stone foundation is complete and can sit on flat ground. If you go to GALLERY page 10, you can see all four sides. We even provide some extra windows and doors, should you wish to have some in those walls.

Part of the beauty of cardstock modeling is the ability to print as many of a part as you need. As such, I think the sign brackets would benefit substantially from being made more substantially! I mean, it looks like the lumber should be thickened by another one or two or three layers of paper in order to make it close to proper sized lumber. Unless it was made from plywood.

if you printed up several copies and attached them back to back,
it would make a beautiful rustic barn.
Looks like one of your best models yet.
