I've finally completed building my version of the O Western Store... it was to be a Christmas present but got sidetracked when Covid shut down international mail deliveries. It was a freebie in 2016 when I first downloaded it, then made available again in 2016 when I also purchased and downloaded it.
I'm not sure what the differences might be between the freebie and sales version, since I actually worked from the freebie. However it wouldn't have made a difference... when I decided that I was going to build the Western Store I purchased the sale version to reward Clever for their time/work.
The most significant challenge I had building the kit was to attach the roof and the photos will shown a wavy edge along one side. I've built it as a functioning store, rather than a derelict, and used Clever's shingle texture for the awning. The awning supports are styrene rod with a hole drilled in the bottom to fit over a small (brass bead) pin pushed through the base. I've used mostly white (PVA) glue, with gap filling superglue for the awning.
