Ok - this is probably a stupid question.

On the fuel/oil tanks 2 questions

1) I'm assuming the tank sides are too long and have to be cut?
2) Are there two different optional stands? One short and wooden, the other tall and metal or do they go together somehow?

Yes you need to trim the sides, but some folks just overlap.
The two stands are separate.
