Discussion > Underside Of Awnings and Support

Hi All,
Does anyone color the inside of bldg awnings, or do you just leave them white? If you do color them, what do you use that won't bleed through the carstock (even 110 lb stock suffers bleed through). Also, what do you use as a glue support to mount the awnings to the bldgs as the edge of the cardstock does not provide much of a surface for a large awnong?

I usually leave a small tab on the end of the awning, fold it down, and glue that to the building.

Thanks! That sounds like a logical and easy method.

I usually print the awning on regular copy paper and also print a second copy using the mirror image function on my printer. I laminate the two back to back and cut them out as one piece. I've also done double sided with success but used slightly thicker cardstock. I also leave a small tab for gluing.
