first street update

Just a quick update on first street delivery.  Still looks good for later this month.  We did find some problems with the White Castle model.  My brother completed the test build successfully but determined it was hard to understand, so I’m doing some modifications that will make the folding of the front wall simpler by making the tall pilasters seperate objects.

Habbaker’s build is about half way there, I know there are no problems because I built one in HO for my layout.

Harvy’s hobbys is still waiting to be built but is very similar to the western store so I don’t anticipate any trouble there.

The bonus kit hasn’t been built but with the exception of the sign and front door display it’s the same as “Hoosier Mama’s” and that works fine.

Downloaded and assembled your freebie shed. It was great to try your product before buying. I look forward to assembling the buildings on the neighborhood disk.

Happy to hear that the shed did what it was meant to do. We don't get much feedback and every bit helps.
The neighborhood disk is a great one. there's just so much on it.

Thom,

You don't get much feedback? I know that Jim and Ben are great modelers and have contributed greatly. I am still learning my way through, since I am very much a novice. I just finished plant #2 in S, but you've had that kit out for several years. Would you still want submission of photos on those builds (as feedback?)

Sure we want photos. It's as much about sharing your work with the community as anything. show off a bit.
On the feed back issue, it's true we have a small number of very active modelers who make a great contribution and help us make the best kits we can but we have a world wide audience. I track the traffic and there is some one on this web site almost every moment day and night.
certainly not everyone taking a look around tries our kits or becomes involved. It is a small but growing group but we need a wide spread of peoples opinions to try to make this the best it can be.
