Upgrade to Kirk's Books

Hi all.  We have been made aware that in general, allot of you like to build our kits as your own.  I guess you listen to our preaching.  (nagging?)  So, to any of you who have purchased Kirk’s Books, we now have a version of the front facade that DOES NOT have the name Kirk’s Books printed on the clapboards.  We will be adding this page to the kit in the very near future, but for those of you that want it, please let us know and we will send it to you.

You can use our contact page or email me directly at <mize1@sbcglobal.net>.

Dave and Thom,

Thanks for the offer of a update. I do appriciate all.

As for renaming and otherwise altering your kits I use Adobe Photoshop for the task. To date I have only assembled one kit as you presented it. The changes are subtle. Perhaps I might chage the way a door opens or just remove a window or two. Sometimes just a sign or two. Other times I may alter the color. And of course I may do some serious kit bashing.

At the moment I am doing the "Critter Shed". Since it was designed as a narrow gauge building and I model backwoods standard, several changes must be made so that a standard gauge loc will fit. And of course I need to change the name.:))

But, without your great kits I would be helpless to do all of these things. Thank you so very much for your products.

Thanks you John for your continued support and helping to spread the word.
Not everyone has Photoshop skills or the decidedly high cost of the software.
The artist part of me wants to create interesting graphics to give the buildings character but I have to admit it does limit the usefulness so from now on we will do both.
